WARRANTY POLICY
Aphero Carbon is committed to supplying high quality automotive products.
Unless otherwise stated on the individual product page, products supplied by Aphero Carbon are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the date the product is delivered.
WHAT IS COVERED
The warranty covers manufacturing defects that affect the normal function, construction or finish of the product under normal use.
Depending on the product and circumstances, an approved warranty claim may result in:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Replacement components
- Another appropriate remedy
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Incorrect or unsuitable installation
- Accidents or impact damage
- Misuse or neglect
- Modification after delivery
- Use outside the product's intended purpose
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper cleaning products or chemicals
- Damage caused during removal or installation
- Damage caused by third-party workshops, installers or technicians
Cosmetic characteristics inherent to genuine carbon fibre, including minor variations in weave appearance, pattern or finish, are not necessarily considered manufacturing defects.
STEERING WHEELS
Bespoke steering wheels should be installed by a suitably qualified professional.
Where original vehicle components such as buttons, airbags, paddles, heating components or driver-assistance hardware are transferred to a steering wheel, those original components are not covered by the Aphero Carbon product warranty unless they were supplied by Aphero Carbon.
Damage caused during installation or transfer of OEM components is not covered.
CARBON FIBRE PRODUCTS
Carbon fibre products should be installed correctly and without excessive force.
Damage caused by incorrect installation, over-tightening, modification, drilling, cutting or impact is not covered by the warranty.
MAKING A WARRANTY CLAIM
To make a warranty claim, please contact:
Please provide:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs or video showing the problem
- Photographs of the complete product
- Any relevant installation information
We may request additional information before assessing the claim.
Please do not return a product without receiving return instructions from us first.
INSPECTION
Warranty claims are assessed individually.
Where necessary, we may ask for the product to be returned for inspection before confirming whether the issue is covered.
STATUTORY RIGHTS
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights and does not limit or replace them.
Under UK consumer law, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
